Charlottesville, VAPosted Apr 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied through university job listings and was contacted a couple weeks later about an on-campus interview.

The night before, there was a meet-and-greet at a local bar where I met some of the interviewers.

The on-campus interview itself was intense in a compact way: two back-to-back 15-minute interviews with two interviewers each. It was shorter than I expected, so I had to be ready to explain my background clearly in a tight time window. There wasn’t much detail on difficulty, and I didn’t receive an offer, but the format was easy to track—quick conversations back to back.
