I had a short behavioral screen first, and then I moved into a longer technical interview with a software engineer.

The technical questions weren’t absurdly difficult, but what stood out was that the experience felt very dependent on the specific interviewer’s style and what they chose to emphasize.

Because the format was a mix of behavioral and then technical, I felt like they were covering multiple angles. Difficulty was easy-to-average for me, and I didn’t feel like the questions were totally disconnected from real engineering work. Still, I didn’t end up getting an offer.
