I interviewed for the Data Scientist role through an OA followed by a three-part technical session—problem solving, ML reasoning, then coding—where they probed my design choices.

Online assessment — 8 standard data-science questions plus one coding question (HackerRank-style).
Problem Solving (45 minutes) — experimentation/ML system design style question.
Machine Learning (45 minutes) — questions based on my project background, with a strong focus on why I made specific design choices.
Coding (1 hour) — started with principles/conversation, then a simple coding task (e.g., palindromes) followed by a slightly harder NumPy-related question. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was to be ready to justify trade-offs, not just name
