I went through a role-relevant technical interview flow that leaned heavily toward core fundamentals and specific skills, especially database concepts, with a phone-first start.

Application-to-screen — After being contacted, I had an initial call that assessed fit and whether my background matched the technology required.
Technical interviews — I faced technical evaluations where the focus was on practical knowledge (including C# basics in one case).
Advanced technical topics — One interview centered strongly on SQL and advanced SQL concepts rather than .NET as described in the job.
HR/director-style follow-ups — The process also included HR-style conversations and leadership-level discussions in a typical call → technical → HR
