My Barclays Business Analyst process was described as structured across multiple phases, and mine matched that feel: there were initial screenings, a technical/data evaluation stage, and then a case-style component where I had to work through the problem and present my thinking.

I also went through a behavioural round.

What made it especially hard for me was the overall difficulty level—by the time I reached the later stages, the workload and pressure around the case and technical steps really took a toll. I did make it through and got to the final stages, but I ultimately had to turn down their offer.

Even with the offer, I left with the sense that this process was genuinely demanding end to end, and that the hardest part wasn’t the individual questions so much as keeping my performance consistent across the full chain of rounds.
