Bain & Consultant interview experience

It actually felt fairly easy compared to the way people describe guesstimates—mostly straightforward thinking grounded in basic marketing-type concepts.

It didn’t feel like a heavy lift relative to the rest of what Bain typically does, so the experience overall landed in the average range for difficulty. I didn’t receive an offer, but this specific part of the process didn’t feel like the reason; it felt more like a quick reality check than a major hurdle.
