Bain & Consultant interview experience

I had a setup that matched what was described publicly, and the main challenge I ran into was math—specifically, that part wasn’t my strongest area. Even so, I still felt that if someone prepared properly, the process should be manageable.

The format included two cases via remote in a single day, and then an in-person stage that combined a case interview, a presentation component, and a behavioral interview. I remember thinking that the time pressure and the amount of structured thinking expected in the cases would make the difference between feeling lost versus feeling in control.
