Bain & Consultant interview experience

It didn’t feel “hard” in the sense of trick questions, but the pressure was real because it was a Bain-style environment—everything carried a sense of intensity even when the math itself wasn’t extreme.

The interviewers seemed a bit disinterested, which made the atmosphere more sterile than supportive. That said, they still handled the process competently.

I didn’t end up getting an offer. The takeaway for me was that the difficulty came less from the content and more from the setting—how tightly you had to control your pace and reasoning while being watched in a high-pressure format.
