San Francisco, CAPosted Oct 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a two-round associate consultant process that combined case interviews and fit interviews.

The cases were meant to test analytical and problem-solving abilities, while the fit portion focused on motivation, communication style, teamwork, and cultural alignment.

The structure felt rigorous because it didn’t let me treat it as purely a numbers exercise. Even when I was working through a case, I had to keep in mind that the process also judged how I presented myself and how I talked through my thinking.

I didn’t receive an offer. The overall feel was that they were evaluating me from multiple angles at once—how I solved problems and how I fit within the way the firm communicates.
