The overall process felt straightforward on paper: there was a test, followed by a series of questions they asked me.

I underestimated how much focus some of the business-finance-style tasks would require, and I made the mistake of not prepping enough.

When I hit the finance-related components, I felt the gaps immediately and it became harder to keep my work clean under the interview pressure.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the main reason it felt difficult was that the structure didn’t leave much room to recover from a weak prep moment. My reflection was blunt: I treated it like a simple process, but the finance-heavy question style exposed where I wasn’t ready.
