Bain & Consultant interview experience

The format was candidate-led, where I worked through a real client problem using a structured, hypothesis-driven approach. What mattered was balancing analytical rigor with a collaborative, team-oriented way of presenting my thinking.

I focused on making my recommendations clear and actionable, and I tried to deliver insights that felt connected to what a client would actually need. I didn’t receive an offer, and the main reflection I carried afterward was that the interviewers didn’t just want a correct answer—they wanted me to communicate like I was already partnering on the problem.
