I had a phone screening scheduled with HR, but they never called.

When I followed up, it turned into a messy back-and-forth where two HR contacts seemed to be arguing about whose responsibility it was to place the call, and neither apologized for making me wait for an hour.

When the call was rescheduled, I was told I was going to be moved forward. But immediately after the rescheduled call, I received a follow-up saying they’d already selected a candidate. The whole thing felt unprofessional and like I never truly got a proper chance to be considered.
