I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with an average difficulty in a simple two-stage recruiter-to-screen flow.

Recruiter coordination calls — first, I spoke with a recruiter to schedule the first round.
Recruiter behavioral screen — the first round itself was behavioral.
Second recruiter call + resume review — I had another recruiter call to schedule, then a second round with behavioral/resume review with the hiring manager. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; my takeaway is that behavioral clarity and resume alignment were the main screening signals.
