American Express Product Manager interview experience

They went over compensation details, location, and what the hybrid setup would look like, then shifted into the basics—behavioral prompts like introducing myself, why I wanted American Express, and questions around strengths.

What stood out was that after those early behavioral questions, the interview turned into more of a walkthrough of what the rest of the process would look like. It didn’t feel like I was only being evaluated; I also had clarity on the timeline and upcoming steps, even though the overall difficulty was more average than easy.
