American Express Global Business Travel Consultant interview experience

The first was an HR conversation, and it stayed pretty general—questions about my career, my family, and the job itself. The second round shifted to a team leader interview, where the questions became much more knowledge-based.

Geography and travel details were the focus, including airport and city codes, and they tested my understanding in a practical way. The difference between the two rounds was noticeable: the first felt like they were getting to know me, while the second was more like they were checking whether I could operate in the travel domain.
