I was told the interview would be on Webex, and they did that to save themselves money.

What really surprised me was that they didn’t flag that it would end up costing me around £70, because the call routed through the USA.

The interview setup itself was straightforward, but the billing aspect caught me off guard and left a sour taste before the actual conversation even finished. Overall it felt like a small, avoidable issue that I didn’t expect to deal with during the hiring process.
