Glen Allen, VAPosted Dec 2011 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process had a rocky start due to coordination problems, but it still followed a recruiter-led phone screen and then a panel interview path.

Phone interview scheduling + recruiter coordination — the recruiter called late, lacked my resume, and didn’t know the exact position/job ID until the call recovered.
Phone interview (experience fit) — a check that I had the skills from the job description.
Panel interview scheduling — after the phone step, they moved toward a panel interview with set times. Outcome: No offer; takeaway: logistical readiness and having materials organized seemed to matter, even early on.
