I went through a pretty drawn-out sequence with four separate interview times across phone, video, and in-person conversations.

Early on I could tell they were trying to land on a “perfect fit,” but the back-and-forth ended up lasting long enough that it started to wear on me.

By the time I reached the later stages, I was still engaged in the interviews, but the delay made the process feel heavy. When I finally learned they’d chosen someone else, it honestly felt like the whole thing had taken way too long for the result. The difficulty was kept at an average level for the conversations themselves, but the timing and effort made it feel more frustrating than it needed to be.
