What the process looks like, and what Relias is really testing for.
Relias uses a structured mix of screening, online testing, and team interviews. Across the roles we have guides for, you can expect recruiter contact, an online assessment that includes personality and logic style testing, and later interviews with team members and sometimes in-person stakeholders.
What the process tests is consistent across the topic set: you are evaluated on technical skills that match the role area, plus logic and cognitive ability. The collected interview topics show heavy emphasis on personality assessment and cognitive or logic IQ style testing, and top visibility for role-relevant technical areas like marketing analytics, product management, web application development, REST API integration, JavaScript fundamentals, and sales discovery call role-play, alongside teamwork and collaboration.
The process steps we have reported include phone interview, initial screening, online assessment, and technical assessment, followed by team discussions and in-person interviews where applicable. Based on the candidate reports provided, you should also be aware that the reported offer rate is 0.0%, so you are being assessed for fit, but we cannot use these reports to infer how often offers are made.
The most non-obvious part is that personality and cognitive or logic style testing shows up at very high prominence in the interview topics, and there is also at least one reported follow-up assessment that can require retaking the cognitive test under proctored webcam conditions.
