San Jose, CAPosted Mar 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process felt smooth and fairly standard at the start, with a total of six interviews including a hiring manager conversation.

Beforehand, I researched the cybersecurity domain and familiarized myself with concepts like VPN, OAuth, SSO, SSL, and SAML, and I also reviewed my understanding of Zscaler’s products and what they do.

Throughout the interviews, I kept the cybersecurity context in mind, and the overall flow didn’t feel chaotic. Even with that effort and preparation, I didn’t end up getting an offer. Still, the experience itself felt well-structured compared to other cycles I’d been through.
