Zscaler Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

SeniorPosted Jun 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied for a Senior Staff SDE role at Zscaler through a mix of referral and direct portal applications.

I remember the recruiter reaching out after I’d put myself into the pipeline, and that’s when everything started to feel more organized.

The process culminated in an offer in May 2026. It was clear the company was actively reviewing my profile because the recruiter’s communication stayed on track, and I ended up accepting the offer for the Senior Staff SDE position.

Honestly, the biggest feeling for me was relief. The combination of being laid off earlier and then having an extended search made the eventual offer feel earned, and I was glad the process got me to a clear decision.
