HR kept rescheduling the interview for about two weeks, and that delay really stretched out the waiting period.

Eventually, I got the director-of-engineering interview, and that part was professional and patient.

The interviewer answered my questions thoughtfully, and the overall tone was respectful and clear.

Even with that positive interaction, I was rejected before the technical round began. The thing that stuck with me most was the wasted time from the reschedules rather than the quality of the director interview.
