I went through multiple interview rounds smoothly for a Senior Frontend path, then the process ended abruptly with a restart after long silence.

Recruiter outreach + three stages — I interviewed through three stages after a recruiter reached out; all stages took about two weeks each and the overall experience felt strong.
Long post-final delay — After what I thought was a final-stage pass, I heard nothing for weeks and then learned the role was closed and the team would restart the process for a different skill set. Outcome: No offer; even though I felt like I performed well, prolonged delays and an eventual role closure made the outcome feel arbitrary.
