Toronto, ONPosted Sep 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a promising schedule leading to a final interview, but I was told weeks in advance that the role was already filled, which made the process feel unfair.

Final interview scheduled — I was booked for a final interview weeks ahead and prepared thoroughly.
Cancellation / role closed early — Suddenly I was told the position was already filled, and they closed the role before interviewing all shortlisted candidates.
Candidate experience impact — The rejection came with no real explanation and left wasted effort and frustration. Outcome: No offer, and my takeaway was to treat scheduling as provisional until the final decision is confirmed because role closure can override qualifications.
