Xero Software Engineer interview experience

I could pick my preferred language to code in, which reduced one layer of stress, but the overall pace still felt demanding. After that came a video interview with six questions where I had a short prep window and then a brief speaking slot for each question.

I made it through the earlier steps, but I didn’t pass the video interview stage. It was a tough format because the turnaround time per question was tight and my answers had to be crisp under pressure.
