My interviews varied a lot in style and professionalism, so the one constant was that the experience sometimes felt disconnected from what was advertised.

I had a couple of rounds that were relatively chill and scenario-based, with limited technical depth and mostly team-driven questions about what I’d do if something went wrong. There were also interviews where the focus didn’t match the full-stack job description—one round skewed heavily backend even though the role sounded broader.

At the same time, some stages felt awkward or poorly designed. I ran into video questions with very short answer windows and prep time, and in one process the whole thing leaned into automated behavior questions where I got cut off a couple of times. I even saw
