Wärtsilä Software Engineer interview experience

From there, I talked through what they expected from new joiners, along with the do’s and don’ts that seemed meant to set expectations about how people were supposed to operate.

After that, I had an HR interview and then moved into a technical interview. The whole sequence felt difficult, mostly because it wasn’t just one question-and-answer stage; it moved from context-setting into an HR conversation and then straight into the technical evaluation. I didn’t end up getting an offer, but I left with a clearer sense of what they cared about across both communication and technical depth.
