Worley Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Medium

Negative

United KingdomPosted Feb 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The hardest part of my experience wasn’t the technical challenge—it was how the process was handled.

I went through an online assessment centre, and it was obvious the assessors hadn’t really read the brief.

For example, I was asked to provide numerical evidence to support my opinion even though there weren’t any numbers given for me to analyze. It felt like I was being evaluated on something that wasn’t properly grounded in the instructions.

Compared to other companies I’d interacted with, the overall process felt less enthusiastic and a bit sloppy. I didn’t receive an offer, and the mismatch between what was asked and what was provided left a negative impression that stayed with me.
