Workday Software Engineer interview experience

In the end, I wasn’t able to get the position because the team was full.

There were six interviews total: an HR screening, then a chat with the hiring manager that included behavioral questions, followed by a UML class diagram interview. After that I had an XO demo, then two more behavioral rounds.

Difficulty felt average throughout, and the interviews were part of a fairly extended sequence rather than a quick set of stages. I didn’t get an offer, and what I remember most was how drawn out the process felt relative to the final reason it didn’t work out.
