Workday Software Engineer interview experience

The first step required me to submit coding in Python or whichever language I preferred based on the problem statement.

The process also included a scoring-related component where I had to parse a resume and answer a task around it. After the coding submission, the technical round and the team leader discussion focused on bridging what I’d done with how I thought about the role.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the overall flow felt organized and centered on concrete tasks rather than abstract chat. It was an experience built around evaluation steps you could directly see.
