Workday Software Engineer interview experience

The hiring manager explained things to me clearly and in a friendly way. My interaction felt respectful and informative, and I appreciated how well they walked me through the role.

Even so, my background didn’t match what they were looking for, and I got rejected. That was disappointing, but the rejection itself didn’t feel harsh—the main issue was the fit, not the tone or the process.
