My technical interview felt unusually light.

They asked very few meaningful, job-related questions, and the manager I spoke with was friendly—almost like the conversation was going smoothly—but I still didn’t get an offer.

What stuck with me was the overall vibe. I left feeling like the interview might have been more of a formality than a real evaluation of my ability. Even though the tone was positive, the low signal on technical content made the final result feel disappointing and a little confusing.
