Milwaukee, WIPosted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

After I submitted a direct application for an open role, I heard back from the recruiter, and the first step was a phone screen.

That call was straightforward and centered on my background and the fit for the position.

Soon after, I moved into a video conversation with the hiring manager. The tone was pleasant and the flow felt well structured, but I left feeling like I still didn’t get much clarity on the actual day-to-day or the deeper projects I’d be working on. Even with a comfortable, organized experience, the interviews didn’t provide the level of detail I was hoping for, and I didn’t progress to an offer.
