West Monroe Consultant interview experience

• Recruiter outreach + initial screening — I was contacted via LinkedIn, discussed my background, and went through an early screen.
• Senior Manager conversation — the manager explained the role was opened months in advance to collect candidates and that I’d be looking at 5–7 additional conversations over roughly two months.
• Decision point — the long lead time (about four months) and non-campus timing made immediate start unrealistic.

Outcome: I didn’t move forward because I couldn’t commit to the lengthy, multi-conversation process.
