Stamford, CTPosted Jul 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced an unusually disorganized hiring journey that was hard mainly due to professionalism and process issues, even though the individual interviews themselves weren’t the problem.

Phone interview (initial screen) — I did well enough in a first call.
In-person interview (multi-interviewer marathon) — I went in for an on-site process that turned into several hours of repeated 1:1 interviews where different people asked essentially the same questions.
HR follow-up that dragged — Afterward, HR said they’d provide next steps, but updates came weeks later and then shifted. Outcome: I didn’t clearly move forward despite the process delays; the takeaway was that the biggest risk wasn’t the questions, it was the lack of structure.
