The company itself sounded excellent from what I saw, but I got a major warning sign during outreach.

People were masquerading as Vertafore recruiters and offering interviews that quickly led to an offer letter—through Skype, which felt odd and out of place. The scam attempt seemed aimed at pulling details and money rather than running a legitimate hiring process.

Because of that, the biggest “interview” feeling I had wasn’t about technical fit at all—it was distrust. It made the whole situation feel unsafe, and it stayed on my mind while I tried to confirm what was real.
