Veritas Technologies Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Easy

Negative

Roseville, MNPosted Nov 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I took part in a longer process where the questions were very easy and mostly centered on my past experience, but I declined because the offer didn’t match the backend team.

Extended recruiter process — It took over four weeks with some follow-up delays.
Experience-focused interviews — The questions were mainly about my background and past experiences, even though my expertise was front-end.
Offer decision — The offer was for a back-end team, and I chose to decline. Outcome: Offer declined, and the takeaway was that even “easy” interviews can still end with a mismatch in team/role alignment.
