PunePosted Feb 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Veritas Technologies with an assessment + interview structure, and the difficulty centered on a mix of MCQs and coding.

Online assessment (HackerRank) — MCQs on OS and computer networking, plus two coding questions and one SQL query.
Technical interview 1 — a technical round that focused on coding topics similar to the assessment.
Technical interview 2 — another technical round; in my experience it was tough, with medium-level coding questions.
HR round — a final HR interview after the technical stages.
Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the main takeaway was that the combination of OS/CN + SQL + medium coding required full preparation.
