I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Veritas Technologies with a harder, MCQ + deep technical sequence.

Aptitude test — MCQs on core CSE topics plus one coding element (REST API/code snippet) and an SQL query in one experience.
Technical round — deep questions on OS concepts and other fundamentals pulled from what I mentioned in my resume.
Managerial round — discussion connected to projects and DSA, with an emphasis on your decision-making.
HR round — general HR questions to wrap up.
Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the takeaway was that stronger OS + SQL fundamentals and confident explanations were essential.
