I had a 30-minute interview with the current research coordinator, and it centered on the day-to-day reality of the role.

We talked about project work and role expectations, along with availability, so it wasn’t just a background check—it was also about whether I could realistically contribute where they needed help.

They asked me to discuss the ongoing projects and where things stood, and I explained what contributions I could make. Coursework came up too, which helped connect my background to the work they were running. The conversation felt active and practical, and it moved at a good pace.
