My interview was a quick, informal, face-to-face meeting at a specific lab in OISE.

It was one-on-one with the lab manager, and it lasted around ten minutes.

The whole vibe was low-key and not very formal. Rather than being grilled, the conversation stayed easy to follow, and it felt like an initial check-in rather than a deep evaluation. Even with the short length, I left with a clear sense that they were trying to gauge how I would work and communicate in the lab environment. Overall, it felt straightforward, and the brief format made it easier than I expected.
