I went through a panel interview with two graduate students over Zoom.

The format was straightforward: they first asked about my background and interests, and then they moved into more challenging questions. After the main part of the interview, we wrapped up with a Q&A session.

What made it feel manageable was the clear progression—start broad, then get deeper—without the process dragging on. The Zoom setting didn’t feel impersonal; it still felt like a real conversation, and I appreciated getting the chance to ask questions at the end.
