University of Toronto Research Analyst interview experience

The whole process felt pretty streamlined—there was just one interview round with the professor, and it was mostly about my research fit rather than anything overly behavioral. I got the sense we connected well quickly, and the conversation stayed focused on the research area itself.

After that call, I later received an offer. What stood out to me was how little “formal” interview structure there was—no long sequence of rounds, just a straightforward discussion that stayed tied to the work.
