I started with a phone call that was pretty direct: they asked why I was interested.

I explained that I had worked in education before with children, and I could connect that background to the interest I had in the work.

After that, they told me they would let me know if I was hired in a few days, and they actually followed through on that timeline. The whole interaction felt smooth and uncomplicated. I remember being relieved that the process moved quickly after the call. When I think about it now, it wasn’t an interview that tested depth—it was more about clarity of motivation and a quick confirmation that there was a fit worth considering.
