I applied online with my resume, cover letter, and transcript, then waited to hear back from the relevant professor.

Once I got the interview, it was with the professor and their research assistant, and the conversation stayed pretty focused.

During the interview, I was asked three questions. It wasn’t a long, drawn-out process—more like a concise screening where they checked my background and how I thought about the role based on what I’d submitted.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the whole thing felt average difficulty and reasonably straightforward. I left feeling like the questions were meant to confirm key points quickly rather than to evaluate everything in depth.
