United Airlines Software Engineer interview experience

The process felt pretty typical in the sense that there weren’t any surprising formats, but it was clearly designed to see how consistently I could respond—there was a lot of back-and-forth.

What stood out most was the sheer number and variety of prompts. I didn’t get the impression it was one narrow topic area; instead, the questions ranged enough to test different parts of my background. I answered what I could and kept pushing through, but the “asked a lot, answer a lot” rhythm was noticeable from round to round.
