UC San Francisco Research Analyst interview experience

Once I arrived, I didn’t just do formal interviews—I also spent time with the team socially, and I met senior lab members who asked a lot of questions and pushed into both personal and professional areas.

The hardest part was that the on-site portion felt like a real panel: reviewers asked difficult questions that went beyond basic background and leaned into how I’d fit personally as well as how I approached the work. It took more attention than I expected because I was being evaluated across multiple conversations with different senior folks, not just one structured chat.
