San Francisco, CAPosted Feb 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a relatively straightforward and pleasant interview process, and the tone was polite and easygoing.

One interviewer did seem a little skeptical of me at first, but as the conversation went on it felt like her uncertainty reflected more on her process than on my fit.

The one thing that lingered afterward was compensation. The salary being offered felt low compared to what I expected for San Francisco, which made the whole interaction feel a bit off even though the actual interview experience itself didn’t feel hostile or difficult.

I didn’t end up with an offer. Looking back, the interview part was fine, but the mismatch on pay was what really shaped how I felt about the opportunity
