Uber Eats Account Executive interview experience

The recruiter was kind, and the conversation felt organic—I actually left those rounds believing I had a strong shot.

After the final interview, though, I got a generic “we’re going in a different direction” email, which was a major letdown. The last step included a mock sales call based on a project I’d put together, so I felt like I’d given something concrete. But the end message didn’t reflect any of the optimism from earlier conversations, and I didn’t get an offer. Looking back, the biggest emotion was the whiplash between how well it felt during the process and how quickly it ended.
