My interview process began with a phone screening that was pretty simple and early-stage.

The conversation covered why I was interested in the position, plus basic logistics like when it would start, how much travel there might be, and the location.

It stayed calm and straightforward, and I remember feeling like the call was mainly about confirming I understood what the role required and whether my background matched what they were hiring for. No offer came out of that step, but it did give me a clear picture of the job requirements going forward.
